Birthday Fun

My birthday landed on a Friday this year and it was spent with my students. It was my first birthday as a teacher and the kids were so cute about it!
Since I was tired of the cupcakes from Valentine's Day, I decided to bring one of my favorite things for my birthday: Oreo cookies and milk! They were thrilled about it, but then again it doesn't take too much to pump them up. They crack me up.
Also, my sisters came up to spend my birthday with me. It was so nice of them to come down. I always have a blast with them. We decided to go to an, "Italian" restaurant in Bountiful and it was quite the experience. Then after eating our meals that consisted of Mexi rice as a side and salsa for bruschetta, we came to the conclusion that it was actually a, "Latin-Infused Italian" restaurant. We found out at the end that the couple that owned it come from Italy and Argentina. There you go. For some reason, our pieces of cake looked like they were karate chopped instead of sliced. It was just a fun night. Here are some pictures from my classroom and from dinner with my sisters.
