My brother requested us to wear black and yellow attire to pay homage to the Steeler Nation and we wore some silly glasses with no lenses because my brother would wear some on occasion before and during the mission.
My dad looked so studious in his get-up. He said, "Call me Bond, James Bond." Even my grandma wore some. She was a good sport.
When my brother came walking up, he did not disappoint. He was twirling his terrible towel above his head and came with a Steel City cap. He looked pretty legit. I was so excited and anxious that my heart was racing!

Okay, so this is a hilarious picture of my sister Nellie. She is the music-tech-savvy one in the family so she was able to create her own version of Whiz Kalifah's song, "Black and Yellow" with a special twist for my brother. It was so cool and funny because she needed an old school boom box for it to work. So here she is, blasting the music while my brother was walking up. It was funny!
Nef calling the mission home in the Pitt to let them know he arrived safely.
Oh boy does it feel good to have him home! We missed him so much and love him to pieces.
We love you Nefi "Effi" and we are very happy that you chose to make other people happy by serving a mission! They will love you forever for your service!
