Tuesday was our wedding anniversary. It's been three years now and it's gone by fast! We didn't have time to celebrate because we had school and work, but we'll wait until we head down to our hiking excursion in St. George for Labor Day weekend. I am so glad I married Brandon! He is such a wonderful man and I couldn't ask for anyone better. He is the best. He works so hard for us and always makes sure that I'm taken care of. I am excited and happy to be with him forever.
I also started my student teaching last Wednesday. It has been good and the kids are AWESOME! There are the kids that have high data scores, some just right, some that are a little behind, and some that are way behind. Am I ready for the challenge? But of course! The duties that I've had aren't too strenuous right now, but now since my university classes have begun then I can teach more lessons.
I really like teaching. It is something that I find enjoyment in no matter the circumstances. I am definitely in it for the intrinsic rewards.
Also, my Mom-in-law got marries a few weeks ago. The ceremony was nice, and then came the crazy rain storm! Since it was an outdoor wedding, we all had to take shelter under the DJ canopy, the house, or the humongous garage. It stopped eventually and it was all good, even though I felt like I never fully got dried the rest of the night. The bride looked beautiful.
