I threw a bridal shower for my mother-in-law last Friday. It was my very first time throwing one and I was terrified! Cooking up a storm in my fun size kitchen and setting up for it was fun and crazy! I'm a firm believer that bridal showers should be fun, and I think I accomplished that. All the attendees were having a blast and enjoying the company of each other. Here are a few more fun things we did at the shower...
Some of the guests. Grandma Keller looks so cute over there on the couch.
Work it girlfriend!! I just about died of laughter when I took this picture.
She had so much fun. I'm so glad it all worked out and I can confidently say now that I can throw some more of these! Also, we went to Lagoon the next day. It was my first time going, ever. Since I was born and raised in California, I was used to extreme roller coaster theme parks like Six Flags Magic Mountain. I love that place. Even though Lagoon is about a quarter of what Six Flags is like, don't underestimate it! What I mean is that on the first ride we went on, which was the Rocket, I got sick!! No puke, I just felt bad the rest of the day. What a ride. Here are some pictures from Lagoon...
Here's a group photo of our crew.
Cute little Marisa and I.
Brandon and Pappa Dan
This was by far my most favorite ride at Lagoon. Rattlesnake Rapids! Mostly because I got soaked, which was exactly what I wanted.
You see?
Anyways, Lagoon sure does beat the waiting time for rides when you compare it with Six Flags. The wait time over there is much monger than at Lagoon. We had fun and I'm glad Brandon took me. He's been wanting to take me for a few years now, so we can now check that off of our summer fun list.
I would blog about more things, but I don't have much time to do it, sorry! After tomorrow, I have a week left of summer semester and then I'm done for a full two weeks and then I start up again. It has been a hard semester, but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. We are busy, but we are happy.
