Pongo

Brandon and I made another big decision for our family; we bought a dog! It was quite an interesting story about how we got him!

Originally, we were going to make a trip to my Tia's (Aunt's) sister's house in California to pick up a puppy (they're Weimaraners). However, it just all ended up being too much for us to do and pay when you add up the expenses of gas, food, and purchasing the pup. So, we dropped that plan. 

Coincedentally, Brandon looked on KSL on a beautiful Sunday and he saw that there was a family that was selling little Weimaraner puppies close to where we live! We called and went to pick our puppy that same day!

Here is the first picture we got of our cute puppy, Pongo!

He was so little! It was so nice how it all worked out and how we got first choice on the pups! We took him home about a month later and here are his homecoming pictures:

He had such pretty blue eyes, too! As he got older, they started to change into a greenish-yellow color. 

He grew like a weed....

He loves to cuddle up with Mommy! It's funny because he is so much like a baby! He goes to sleep at about 9:00-9:30 and comes over to me and sleeps. Cute Pongo.

AND, he loves ice! 

It had been quite an adventure with him. From potty training to word commands, but he's a smart dog...too smart. We love him, no matter how much he might get on our nerves.
