Crazy Week!

I felt like I was in limbo all week....until today. It was a little mistake that I made that almost cost me big time. Luckily, my teacher is an angel of mercy and is letting me fix the problem. So, here's a shout out to my teacher!

Other than feeling like I was in limbo, Brandon started his internship with the church this week! He really likes it so far and is learning new things every day. Although this is my only week to sleep in and enjoy time off, I really didn't take the time to do so. I've started to cook new things for him to take to work. One meal for lunch (internship) and another meal (for UPS). I prepped these meals the night before so that they are nice and fresh and ready to go! It has been pretty nice getting his meals done and ready for him. I guess having that satisfaction that my husband won't go hungry makes me feel at ease. I got up early some of the days with Brandon and made sure he had his meals and was ready to go. He leaves at 7:15 am and gets home at 10:30 pm. He  is tired when he gets home.

This week has shown me how much I appreciate Brandon for all he does for me. He's so wonderful and knows how to cheer me up when I'm down. He works so hard for us to make sure that I'm okay. That means a lot to me, and that's why I love him so much!

Since last week was finals, a group presented a cool lesson plan that has been modified for English Language Learners. This was part of the culminating activity that we were able to do in class:

The Phases of the Moon...with Oreos!

They provided a toothpick to help move the frosting into their respected "Moon Phrases". Did I mention that they were double stuff? Yum! And don't worry, the group presenters even differentiated the oreos. If any of us didn't like the chocolate oreos, they had "Uh oh!" oreos too. Niiiice.
